Instead, track these missions and the Fast travel station will tell you where to travel to first. There are a few areas you can't fast travel to, so not all missions show up. This is a handy way of going to location by location to complete (and start) your missions. If you go to a quick travel station, you can see at each location on the bottom left if there are any quests you can complete. (It only tracks up to 90 side missions though.)
You can check how many side missions you've completed by either counting them yourself at the missions tab (press to sort them from the Story mission), or go to the challenges tab (Baddass tab, press once) and scroll down to 'Miscellaneous' and check the 'Sidejacked' challenge. It has a complete list of undiscovered missions, with all the cryptic texts. (Travel to the area and look for a '!') If not, check the side mission guide. However, the mission is listed under an area, so you know where to look. This means you haven’t found the required item/person to start the side mission. Some side missions will say ‘’ instead of their name and have a cryptic text. Some of these are also started by picking up random items, such as ECHO devices/audio tapes.
